There’s a real chance the messenger could get labeled extremist in Russia. And yeah, that would mean paying for Telegram Premium could straight-up become a criminal offense.
And if they go even further and slap the “terrorist” label on it? Then just using Telegram might actually become a criminal charge. Not just how you pay for it. Literally just having and using the app.
So yeah. We should probably start preparing now — not just for it getting blocked, but for the possibility that it’s declared extremist. Or worse, terrorist.
I seriously recommend you start looking for alternatives ahead of time (for example, that MAX messenger everyone keeps mentioning).
